I agree, it really makes me mad when people blame the processor for their own mistakes or for badly written software.

What really bothers me is When people try to pretend they know what they're talking about, pretend that your an comlete idiot, whatever you tell them for a fact is wrong on thier system, and then contiue totell you Your wrong. and "such and such" is the problem....

oh yes, does that bring back memeroies, I worked for RCA for many years as a field rep. and I tell you there are some people you just cant please no matter what you do to help them, I had the advantage of telling them just to call my superviser, and leave.
what they didn't know was the person that answered the phone when they call , was a specialist that was trained to handel people like that, so I never had to deal with it.

I have met some people that will swere that black is white.
a no win situtation

Yeah, been there done that. I was trying to help a guy get his internet connection going, but he was missing some drivers. It even plainly told what drivers were missing....y'know the "Can't find xxxx.exe" messages? His solution? "Duh, my processors fried!" He kept telling me this while I was trying to get it set up; everytime I'd install a different driver and it still didn't work because it was missing another driver, he'd chime in with "I still think it's the processor". Finally I got tired of it and said "Dude, do you see that picture on the screen?" He said "Yeah, so?" I said "If the processor was 'fried' as you put it, there would be no picture!" That basically confused him and he sat there quietly contemplating what I had said until it was finally up and running again.

He went all the way to LA and no one told him that it wasnt because AMD sucks, its cause he doesnt know how to keep his AV up and running?

Do you know what virus it is? I mean if the dude can go to LA and still not find someone capable of saving what they can and formatting the HD and re-installing the OS, you could charge him a quick couple of 100 for you too fix it..

And when he took the system to LA, did he take only the monitor thinking it was the computer?

Actually there was this long discussion in my Philosophy class today (don't ask how the two are related) about how Win XP sucks because it's just Windows 2000 with eye candy and none of the networking stuff. I wanted to scream, helloooo XP Pro anyone!?! but I just sat there quietly as they trashed it, simply because Office XP wouldn't install correctly on a Win 98 machine!

He got the Blaster worm, and the onluy reason the LA guy couldnt fix it is hes trying to leech out money from the guy. i could tell it was blasterworm cuz he said his computer lagged and had random restarts, and these effects are due when the worm multiplies and takes up the system resources....my friend got the same effects and was easily fixed with the cure on microsofts site...
and ontop of that this is the guy that paid me only $50 when we agreed $100 on a $1k build....so i really dont care his computer went to trash he deserved it..

wOooo sahhhhh~~ (for those who dont know, its from Bad Boys 2 when they get mad, they used that phrase to calm themselves down)
