i'm just curious, what do you guys do when work has got you down or stressed out? for me it's got to be a couple hours of hardcore gaming to take my mind off of things or just listening to music...

![]() I'm very easy going, and don't get stressed out too easily. A very good disposition for a network admin, I guess. Anyway, I usually just sit back and close my eyes for 10-15 minute. That or I read my weekly edition of Sports Weekly or the Wall Street Journal. |

Go for a walk, go for a bike ride, do some gaming, blast some music, go bowling, throw a football or baseball around...
I dunno, just something to take my mind off whatever it was that was stressing me out.

Listen to the Ride the Lightning cd on full blast in my civic (doing 100mph with eyes closed...jk) in the parking lot. Also watching the Samurai X OVAs, Cowboy Bebop, or Berzerk soothes my soul...lol

Whenever the stress is from being mad about something, I usually listen to music. I heard somewhere you need to match the type of music to your mood, so for being mad I listen to stuff like Korn, Disturbed, Godsmack, Rob Zombie, or Powerman 5000...just to name a few. Of course, this is what I listen to normally so that may be why it works for me. If you don't like that kind of music, it may just piss you off more...dunno.

A quick game of UT, some Alias reruns, or a big bowl of ice cream.
