WHat happened to Homer?
I just finished watching the Simpsons and noticed that Homer's voice was completely different. So different in fact that it took away from the comedy in the show. Why did his voice change?

Early Homer (pre-series and in the early episodes) had a Walter Mathau type voice that evolved into the Homer voice of now.

There is a definite change from yesterday's new episode and today's new episode.
