Question How to preserve natural leaves

Ahoy, fellows

I have a question: I got some natural leaves, but they are starting to dry out. What can I do to preserve them so they don't become dust?

TIA for any input.

I ask my wife. She said to put them between two pages in a book. Another way is to place them betewwn two pieces of wax paper and press with them a clothing iron.

Hairspray, seals in the moisture. Several light coats, don't let it build up in a single coat, you don't want it touching anything while it is drying.
If you want it dried wax paper and putting it inside an large hardcover book works.

another thing to not do is smoke them.

pressing in a book will preserve the colors very well too

Will the colors fade if I use wax paper?

the idea it to let the leaf dry out without curling.
wax paper will not let the moister escape properly.
just find a book you never look at and use it
only takes a few weeks

after they are thourgly dried, yes then you can seal them in some type of coating , or even seal then between two pices of clear plastic or polyurthane type stuff
