Sadness- I don't have an internet connection...

Yep, that's why you haven't heard much from me lately. I'm waiting for my budget to stabilize so I can cough up $30/mo. to connect cable modem. First I have to come up with the last month's rent for the new place I just moved into. *sigh*
I am asking my family to give me cash for Christmas.

See ya soon,
Tim

Couldn't you get one of those $9 a month dial-up accounts to tide you over until you get cable? After getting cable it would be hard for me now to go back to dial-up, but the alternative is worse!

I feel your pain. When I first moved to Mexico I was two years without internet. Talk about bordom... A computer without internet isnt any fun...

But I would settle for dialup rather then nothing at all.

Wondered where you been, Tim. Thought maybe you got lost when they closed down the "word" thread! Hope things improve for you soon. Best wishes for the holiday season. Hurry back.

Have you checked out Netzero? I think they still have their 100 hours or less for free accounts.

I hope things start looking up for you. Hang in there.
