RCMP gets an upgrade!
A few more horses in here than they are used to?
Any of you Canuk's seen one of these on duty? Looks too real to be a photochop job. |

Could be legit... they were using Mustangs for a long time, and have been using Camaro's for a few years. At least they finally abandoned the Marquis for an Impala SS.

Check this link out to see more RCMP vehicles. Jaguar S-Type sedan Jag 2 Audi A6 Mercedes ML320 ...and yes, they are all legit cop cars (donated by local car dealers). They take them to schools because kids will show more interest in them/find them more fun than a regular old cop car. Also, they use an unmarked WRX here in Vancouver. Really catch speeders that way. When you least expect it... Last edited by oddjob; 12-13-2003 at 12:39 AM. |

I think it's probably a fake because what Police Dept. in their right mind would make a 2 seater, a Highway Patrol car? Plus it looks goofy with the lights on top.

bigandy, its legit, there are a lot of cities just getting those cars for chasing speeders, and then regular cop cars come to make the arrest if necessary. suburbs of detroit are using camaros from what i understand, and the suburb i live in has one camaro.

Yeah, I know that Colorado State Patrol has recently gotten a fleet of them. AWD has some great advantages for places that get snow. Crown Vics do not like snow, trust me I have one of those beasts.
