Panasonic Phone went crazy

Hi, I hope this the right place to post this,
I've recently bought a Panasonic Phone that looks like this, and it has worked fine for some time now. Actually, its been about three months since I got the thing. It was actually pretty nice, with its voiced caller ID and stuff.

But, two days ago, it just went crazy. What I mean by that is, all the buttons are flashing like they have ceisure, and the screen (on the base) gives me something flashing as well. It has like this clock sign continuously flashing and some other odd thing flashing. We tried to call Panasonic to get it replaced. It turns out that we need our UPC (ok, we have that) and the recept (which is probably lost by now).

PLEASE help me, whoever knows what's going on, or whoever knows what I can do. I got this phone at Office Depot on sale.

Thanks,
kram

I've seen that a few times, along with the phone itself ringing solid rings (with no time between ring) or anybody calling. It was a telco problem and depends on what type equipment they have you on, not the wiring itself anywhere along the route.

So its not the phone itself, but rather the phone company? All my other phones, which are less high tech work just fine. Itsjust the panasonic ones that went crazy.
I'm starting to see what I should do to get it fixed. I want to get some type of button that'll reset the phone base - in essence, get the phone to work again. It doesn't have a ring, but its flashiing and my wireless receiver won't function without the base working.

I really appreciate your help.

Thanks,
kram

Please tell me what is going on - I can't use the phone until then. ANYONE who can help me, please post, pm, or anything. It's as if I have a Las Vegas street show in my kitchen desk! I really do appreciate it.

Thanks,
kram
