laptop repairing

anyone know a sight that has info on repairing laptops and part's for them, i have a toshiba satellite pro 440cdx that has a bad keyboard, thank's for any help and i'm sorry if this is the wrong forum and i know that this is a pc sight and not a laptop sight. thank's sling

I may be wrong on this, but I think your going to run into a tuff time trying to find parts for a laptop, with the exception of ram and harddrives.

Finding various laptop parts is not a problem. Affording them can be. I have only taken a few laptops apart and it seems like they all were a little different. If you are willing to spend the money you can probably pick up a service manual on ebay (and the keyboard for that matter). You may be able to go back to Toshiba to get a replacement keyboard but with the age of that model thats a pretty big maybe.

yeah, it is really hard to find laptop parts. i wish i new some sites but i dont.

The best place is direct from the manufacturer. Any nearby Toshiba authorized repair center should be able to get you the parts.

I did a Toshiba display a little while ago... $967CDN for the part... OOPH!

ebay is always a good place to look for laptop parts.

hello everyone, i checked on ebay and there is a lot of part's for sale and repair manual's as well thank's for the tip. and if anyone else is looking for laptop part's. check out www.laptopparts.com they have a bunch of part's as well. c-ya sling
