Smile My Web Site

I finally got my web site started, which I promised myself I'd do when I got back from Iraq. I have some good geek links and stuff on there.

I've also added some fresh pictures from Iraq to my site, if anyone is interested. I have many, many more, but these were a few that I thought you'd like.

He has it on, just has his helmet on as well. You can see the velcro strips on his leg, and the canister from his mask.

What a bunch of mugs, playing cards during a gas alert.......

Very well done site... little too "American" overtone for my tastes... but well done.

It is a little bad form and senseless to put all the sites in a frame in your links. It is bad form because basically you are taking content off of their site and making it yours. It is senseless because it really does nothing for you other than have your url in the browser window. There is no link back to your site in the top frame.

I would also recommend that you drop a cookie from the intro page so that people don't have to go through your cheesy intro every time.

I can see this coming from the Canadian, but an American? Really, besides the flags at the top and Uncle Sam, what else is there?
Besides which, he is a soldier. You have to believe in what you are fighting for.

I for one like it.

Thanks for the feedback guys! Yes, it may be a bit on the patriotic side, but as someone said, I am proud of this country, and have spent nearly 20 years in service. I've fought two wars in the Middle East and lived in six countries, and have gained a deep appreciation for the freedom and priviliges we have here.
Internet message boards are just one small example of that.....

Anyway, I'm glad you guys like the site, and I'm working to improve it.

Reply to Ghost2003: They didn't use some of the equipment they had because they simply did not want to fight. They were forced to go out there, but many brought civilian clothes with them in bags, so when the shooting started they changed clothes and went home.
