Plenty. Google it. Although I should warn you - don't expect much help in many of them. Video editors are notoriously self-centered people and hate offering help to beginners. They basically like to talk about their latest projects or how they've discovered new ways to deal with editing dilemmas. So don't expect much from most of the forums you'll find.
One that is very good is Creative Cow. There are some egomaniacs around there, but some helpful people as well. Dave.
