Just now I had music playing and I was checking my email. I heard a doorbell from the other room. I don't have a doorbell. I though it was something in the music. I went on with what I was doing. Then I heard it again. I started the song over and didn't hear it. Now I was really wondering I walked through the house looking for the source of the sound. I didn't find it so I went back to the computer. Then I heard it again! I finally noticed that wenever I moved my mouse over the ad on the side bar it makes a doorbell sound from the right speakers. The sound is too real. I feel really stupid.

i hate ads in general like that. Any ad that "comes to you" instead of you running into it is stupid.

I HATE ads that talk to you~!
I understand that they need to make money, but ads shouldnt be allowed when not wanted...like you shouldn't be in someones house when you're not invited. |

The most annoying right now are the movie trailers with sound that AIM is shoveling us.

That's one of the many reasons that I don't have AIM.

i hate the flash ads that are like popups, but they stay within the browsing window... and they are really loud and obnoxious. i get enough of the commercials on tv, why would i want to look at one when i'm trying to see what the weather is going to be like next week?

Some ads that really annoy me are the kind that are those flash ads liker homer's, that pop up up in your window, play sounds, and scroll along with you. Once I even got one that was in a window that you couldn't resize, and was too big for the window, so it was impossible to get to the close button.
Grr.... Evil Ads....
