Dream Theater - Train of Thought
1. As I Am (7:47) 2. This Dying Soul (11:27) 3. Endless Sacrifice (11:24) 4. Honor Thy Father (10:14) 5. Vacant (2:57) 6. Stream of Consciousness (11:16) 7. In the Name of God (14:14) They have longer than normal songs, but this CD is a full 69:19 full of good music. They are a good mix of Metallica and "Emerson Lake and Palmer". They are Hard Orchestral Rock, as I like to put it. The only song I don't like is Vacant, but it's only 2:57. Well woth the $. Stream of Consciousness is a good intstramental along the lines of Metallica's Orion. As I am is a good song for commuting. Endless Sacrifice is also excellent....Honor Thy Father....In The Name of God....awesome

Dream Theater - Live Scenes From New York ( I really think that they sound better live than on the studio albums0
Anouk - Together Alone Urban Solitude Lost Tracks Graduated Fool This gal and her band are excellent rockers, from holland. You can listen to excerpts on www.cduniverse.com And don't forget about that really great rocker from years gone by, Lawrence Welk! |

For heavy rock try Poison The Well - The Opposite of December. Also, the Matrix soundtracks and the Queen Of The Damned soundtrack are pretty good. Tool - Lateralus is good, too.
