I need computer buying therapy

Ok, I am out of control. I need some serious help. I keep on buying parts for computers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was on another forum and was searching for RAM since I am doing a build for my sister. Basically I got some free things and just needed RAM to finish off the computer. I needed pc133 or pc100 and everyone here knows how expensive it is to get a stick. Well I checked ebay and some forums and eventually bought two sticks of 256 for $40. I got a pm from another seller for RAM and he had two sticks as well, however he wanted to sell me the whole computer!!! So this is what the other computer includes

Abit KA7-100 Motherboard
AMD Athlon Slot 1 750Mhz w/heatsink/fan
Stick of 256MB PC133 (crucial)
Stick of 256MB PC100
SB Live Value
GeForce 2 64MB card w/TV out
NEC Zip Drive
CD r/w Drive (slow, maybe 6x?)

I bought this for $100 shipped to my house, but what am I going to do with this?????????? I already have 2 running computers!! I am going to check myself into the student health center at college and get some shrink to help me with this . I guess if anyone I know wants a computer I could give them a deal on one!

Just don't try your hand at overclocking! That will definitely lead to a bad case of "gotta haves"!

Stick Linux on it and fool around. Use it as a web server for your internal network.

I would say the easiest way to curb your computer purchases is to get married. If you are married, then have a kid. If you already have a kid, then have another. Repeat (the kid part not the marriage part, well maybe the marriage part, too) until you don't have the time or finances to continue. You will be cured in no time.

Nice theory, but once the kids are grown, you're second wife is more tolerant than the first and you've got a few extra bucks - guess what? I've got the buying bug, too. Then this oc curiosity bit me, so I had to build an AMD system just to play. Still a lot cheaper than when I was drag racing - cleaner too!

Ok, I guess I will propose to my girlfriend tonight. Haven't met the parents though... This weekend I will drive down to Las Vegas to get hitched. About 9 months from Sunday discodanman45 jr will pop out. Hopefully we will have triplets! That will sure kill my fianances. Oh yeah, I should find a real job and not be a TA anymore.

Heck, you could strip that one and sell the parts for more than $100 - and maybe even have some parts left over to donate to Floppyman for his Linux cluster project.
