Man does that bring back the memories. Back in 1971, a good friend had a blue, 304 powered CJ. Winter of 72-73 we rolled it thru the median of the expressway to avoid an old lady that changed lanes right into us. Neither of us got hurt, but the Jeep was bent pretty bad.
Then when I quit drag racing in the 80's, I sold my 355" small block to a guy runnin' a mud drags Jeep. Put his tunnel ram and twin 660's on it and he dominated his class for the next two years. Like what you guys are doing with the Jeeps. That's what true Off Roading is all about. Not this sissified SUV stuff! Nice site.

Quicksilver, those are some pretty nice jeeps. It must be gratifying to know you worked on them yourself, not to mention the satisfaction of driving in them. I love that kind of stuff. Props.

Thanks guys! Yeah, when it comes to working on them yourself, well, it's like they say, half the fun is getting there. A Jeep is one of those things that never gets all the way done, you always have something else that you want to do to it. I'll tell ya one thing, nothing is worth more than the memories that I have made in the garage, and the same goes for my buddies too. Countless hours spend getting the little white CJ5 up and running and dent free. Worth far more are the conversations that happended during the buildup, and the laughs that where had. You don't get that by sighning a check and having it done for you. My good buddy Justin, the one who actually holds the title to the white jeep (mine is the brown one on page two of that site, still in progress) has joined the army and will be gone for about 5 more months. In the mean time, I'm trying to get mine put back togeather so it's ready to rumble when he comes home. Somehow though, it ain't the same working in the garage alone all the time. The hobby just doesn't have the same meaning when your doing it by your self.
