That's pretty cool, I didn't know about that. Maybe now my brother can trade in his Geforce 4 Mx to help buy him a 9800 Pro. Nice find thanks!

Let's see - $199 plus $50 plus shipping for a 9800 Pro 128mb.....with a $50 rebate upon return of the old card within 10 days, you pay the shipping there too.
Newegg sells the same retail box ATI for $222, free shipping - and OEM/bulk versions from Sapphire, Powercolor, etc. as low as $205. This is no great deal - just buy one of them and keep the GF4 for a spare or sell it to someone who needs a cheap card. Last edited by glc; 06-10-2004 at 01:24 PM. |
