digital cameras...

Im looking at getting a new digital camera and after looking around for a while i've landed on two Sonys... the P93 and the P100 cyber-shots... i can't really decide between then two so i thought i would ask if anyone had either or had one and now have the other and which they preferred...

i really like the size of the p100 and the display it had on the one at the local bestbuy looked amazing... the only qualm i had about it was that it had a rechargable battery instead of AAs... i wondered if it could take AAs...

the only difference between the two seemed to be
1) price, about $50
2) the carl veiss lens on the p100 which sounds good but not really sure... maybe someone can shed some light on that...
3) the view screen on the cameras, p93 has 1.5" while p100 has 1.8"
4) the size... the p100 is much more compact... which i really like...

and i also have a few questions about these newer digital cameras:

about the video or movies that they can both take... how long can these videos usually be? i know with our current Olympus it has a 15sec limit... but its rather old so... i was wondering if the limit on these newer cameras was based solely on the size of your memory stick or if it was just a "movie clip" like on my olympus

and
these both come with 32MB memory sitcks and i was thinking i would probably need a bigger card... but not sure about that either... how many pictures can you fit on a 32MB card with the settings on the highest quality... i probably would not keep the camera set on the highest quality but just as a guestimate to see how much i could fit...

and one last question...
im not sure i totally understand the difference between the 3,4,5 megapixil cameras... to me it seems obvious that the 5mp would be the best but... does that mean that each picture is aproximately 5mb or... does that mean it just has more potential to take bigger pictures with higher resolutions and better quality...?

THANKS Guys!
any advice/information would be greatly appreciated...

Ok... well.. i did a lil more research just now and went to Amazon to see the ratings and i was able to answer some of my own questions... so i thought i would post so anyone else reading would know...

the included 32MB memory stick will hold up to 87 sec in the VGA 640x480 (30fps) video mode

it will hold 12 fine and 23 standard pictures in the 5.1 megapixil mode

SO... thank you amazon for clearing that up...
