video card problem

yesterday my computer was working fine, but this mornign when I turned it on the screen was covered by a yellow haze and there are lines going through it every inch or so. I suspect its my fx 5700 ultra but I'm not sure. Can somebody please give me some tips on what it probably is causing this problem?

Do you have another video card to swap in to check if its the card? Have you tried updating to the latest drivers? Do you have another monitor you could connect to rule that out?
