Question 256 bit graphics

Is a graphics card with 256 bit good

so its good for an onboard graphics im going to upgrade later though

256bit is the best buswidth you can get right now - the best card have that. I'm doubting any integrated graphics has 256-bit - 128-bit onboard at best. What motherboard do you have - maybe we can help there.

Its a SiS real 256e sis website said it was 256 bit but let me double check

Oh wow - you are right - this is a 256-bit integrated graphics chip. Pretty amazing. Often times, integrated functions on the MOBO aren't recommended, especially for graphics when you demand performance. This should serve well until you should wish to get a seperate graphics card on your AGP slot.
