Question Duel Moniter Questions

What do I need if I want to set up duel moniters on my computer? Is it just two moniters? I was also wondering how to set it up, and how exactly it works? Does it just show one extra long screen, or what, I have no idea?

I believe that almost every new card out there has two slots, a DVI and a VGA, so in a sense, every monitor is a dual head. I'm not quite sure how to work it, but I think the only thing you need is another monitor.

Once you have two monitors plugged in; go into display properties/settings. You should see two icons showing two monitors then go through the different settings to setup viewing the way you want. I have two monitors on my video card(21" and 17"). On the 17" I have the desk top and the 21" is were my work viewing is.(21" on the left and 17" on the right)

Duel monitors, man I love it when they do this. There are a few important things you'll want to do first thought just for safety's sake. First and foremost, NO PISTOLS!!, swords are OK as long as there is ample room on your desk, but the preferred setup is Super Soakers. There's nothing quite like seeing a couple of hot monitors go at it with water, let the sparks fly I say.

I'm sorry, I just couldn't quite resist.

Thank you. I don't know I might try this out with the moniter on my other computer.
