Radeon 9800 Pro game issues

I recently bought a Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro to replace my 9500 that went to another build. However, I seem to be unable to play any games with this new card. I've only tested with Call of Duty and Battlefield: Vietnam, but when trying to play either game, I eventually get an error box (the one that says "do you want to send an error report, etc.") Not sure what's causing this to happen. I've tried the regular Catalyst 4.7s and 4.6s as well as the Omega 4.7s and 4.6s, but it happens no matter which driver is used . I've also tried to disable VPU Recover to see if that helps, but it doesn't. Fast Writes are currently off as well. System specs are in my signature. Thanks a lot.

Did you uninstall the old drivers before you installed the new card?

Yep, and made sure to uninstall before switching driver versions.

How about when you tried older driver versions?

Try loading the drivers off the CD and upgrading to newer drivers. 4.1, 4.3, and 4.6 were stable.
