Exclamation USB 2.0 vs. Firewire transfer from camcorder to PC.

Just started shopping for camcorders...

I noticed that some camcorders only have a USB connection. Can (high quality) video be transferred to a PC using USB? Or is a firewire connection a must for transferring video?

USB 2.0 and Firewire have about the same transfer rates, so it doesn't matter. So if your camcorder has only USB, or you can also use USB for video capturing, then just use it.
