video card swap
Ok, so I bought a new vidcard GeForce5200 as that is all i could afford right now. So I took out the old drivers, shut down and installed the new card. Now it will only go into what looks like safe mode, I cannot install the new drivers and then sometimes my monitor will shut off. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You need to install the new drivers. You said you can't. What exactly do you mean ? Does it give you an error message ? Or anything else ?

Well I did get it to load some of the drivers but now I can only get 16 colors.
