Video Card 9800 pro 128ddr 256 bit powercolor
I am planning on buying the Powercolor 9800 pro 128MB 256 bit off of newegg.com and I am wondering how is the cooling setup with stock speeds? One reviewer said that it runs hot even on stock speeds with stock cooling..can this cause a problem? I am planning on playing Doom 3, Shadowbane, and Farcry on it.
TIA. |

To optimize cooling, have a couple of blank PCI slot between the video card and any other card. Then, if you can, have a side case fan blowing at the video card.

Thanks. I just don't want to go through the struggle of purchasing aftermarket cooling for the video card and voiding my warranty.
