PCI express 16x like DDR2 pricing?
I was wondering, are the prices of the pci express x16 video cards reflecting their true performance? Or are they inflated just like ddr2 memory is right now?

Everytime a new technology is in its infancy, the price will be stupid. Once PCI-e and DDR-2 become widely used and have been around for awhile the prices will drop.

its fairly representative of true power just a bit more costly by mabye 10-40 bucks. the only problem is that there isn't a good bang for the buck card for PCIE as all of them are either low to mid end or rlly high end
