My Sound Doesn't Work!

Okay, I have a SoundBlaster Live! with 5.1 support, and my sound hasn't been working for a week now. Here's the story, last week it stopped working (I think it was when I logged out but I'm not positively sure) and I let it go thinking it would come back when I restarted the computer, guess what... it didn't. So I've been looking at all the mute buttons in programs and on the computer and none are on. The sound doesn't come out of the speakers or the USB headset I have either. But one wierd thing is that with the headset it still records sounds and the speakers are getting a signal from the computer because when i have them all the way up and I hit mute on and off it sounds different and the light is on. So today I uninstalled my newest driver then restart the computer (because it said to) and it still was off so I put the new driver back in and the sound worked before I restarted it. Then when it was restarted it shut off again. So I did the driver thing again uninstalling it and putting it back in and the same thing happened. I have no idea what the problem is and I thought all of you smart people would know... hopefully. Thanks in advance.

Well I got it fixed when I called for some support and they said to uninstall the sound card then reinstall it so I did that and it works fine now so nevermind.
