Problems with Radeon 9200SE
I just bought this Stealth S80 Radeon 9200SE 2 days ago.
The computer continues to tell me I have 2 monitors hooked up (there's only one), and any time I try to expand the view to anything above 800x600 display, the screen doesn't fit on the monitor, so it's wrapping around. There's a black column on the left side of the monitor, and on the right side there's the regular background, plus a lighter, flipped version (the part of the display that can't fit on the screen, apparently) I know it isn't a monitor problem because I have had the monitor at 1024x768 display on a different computer with no problems. I have no idea where to start. The "two monitors" it keeps finding doesn't seem to be causing any problems, but not being able to have the right screen display is bothering the heck out of me. Is this a driver problem, a video card problem, a monitor problem? |

Welcome to PC Mech forums
![]() The video card is recognizing dual monitor setup. Make sure that the DVI Port (or whichever port isn't used) has nothing plugged into it, and your settings select only the primary monitor be shown. kram

After a quick check, there is nothing plugged into the card except for my one monitor.
But what settings do I need to change to get the computer to realize that there's only one monitor on the computer? |
