Monitor plug replacement

Is there such a thing as replacing the plug on a monitor? One of the little pegs in the plug has gotten bent over(several times I'm afraid) and about 3/4 of it is broken off. The monitor will not turn on now when booting up, yet when the power is turned on the monitor alone, a self test screen comes on saying that the monitor is working properly and to check connections. I've got to believe that the pin thats broken or too short now isn't making contact which is why its not working. Can I put a new plug on ?
