4.1 Speakers on Nvidia2 Board
I have a 4.1 speaker set up with the Nvidia2 chipset. The onboard sound offers profiles of 4-speaker and 5.1 speaker setups. Anyone know how I can get it to work with the 4.1? If I set it to 5.1, I hear front both sides, and the sub and right rear at the same time (when I do the test, the sub makes both have noise). This is if I plug the front cable in the audio out and the sub/rear in the center out. If I plug the sub/rear in the rear out, I only get the rear speakers and no subwoofer. Anyone out there with an A7N8X board and a 4.1 speaker set up, let me know what you did to make it work right!
Thanks. |

NM...
It seems to work fine, even though the nvidia thing doesn't recognize it. |

It won't recognize it if your speakers are analog, but you can change the output to analog, apparently you figured out how to do so with the nvidia sound utility if you got it to work
