graphic is slow
hey guys, i just installed win. xp pro. the first thing i noticed is the window when i drag it its not smooth its sorta jumpy. i have a ATI 9200 se graphic card. does anyone noe what could be wrong? i havent installed the cd that came with the ATi card yet? is that probably why its not working right?

Install the Graphic drivers from ATI's site.

I agree, don't install the video card drivers from the disk. Make your life simple and go to ATI's website and get the newest drivers. The "jumpy" observation is probably due to the drvers not being installed.

Definitely insatll the drivers from ATi's website. You should see an improvement after you install them.

What are the rest of your system specs?
Have you scanned for spyware with spybot and adaware? Spyware has an adverse affect on performance.

It could easily be something like not enough RAM or CPU speed, or like force said spyware and things like that really slow it up.
