avi to dvd
Hi all. Anyone know of an easy to use, works first time convertor/burner program to convert an avi file to dvd???
Ive got a few things i want to convert , and what i use at the moment is nero, or record now max. On certain files , it locks up and just will not convert. They all play in either media player , nero showtime , real player , quicktime.its just when i try an convert them . cheers (win xp service pack 2 . asus mobo, 512 ddr , ati 9600 vid)

Hi,
good MPEG encoders are ProCoder (Express), TMPGEnc, and CCE. After conversion, you need to author them. TMPGEnc DVD Author is a good basic authoring software. And then use Nero or RecordNow Max to burn. RJ
