Questions/Problems on 9600XT AIW

Hello gurus:

I have several problems and questions on my new setup on the 9600XT AIW.


i am running this card on an asus mobo, with athlon 64 3400+ cpu, audigy 2 gamer version.

I am currently using the external aux in mini plug for the audio connection

1) when programs record there is no sound

2) when i schedule recording the tv always opens and seems that i have to watch the show, i hate this, is this the way it is?

3) the volume levels are very low, but only on fm and tv. games and audio play fine.

4) the playback isn't using my surround sound, it's stereo only


thanks in advance for any help with this, I am most likely going to convert to the internal wiring, as soon as i can find a compatible wire (know which i need)
