send coupla secs music by email ?
How can I quickly send a few seconds from a track on a music CD that is in the tray on my PC, to some friends as an email attachment in some format that I am sure they can all open ?

rip the track to .wav or .mp3, use some audio editor program to get the clip that you want, then attach it to an email. chances are your friends computers will be able to play .wav or mp3 format files.
