Studio 9 help please.
On a build box, I've installed Studio 9. The problem is I can setup up mulitple Menus, and each will work OK when played individually with the built in player, but I can not get them to link up: they will only play their respective chapters but not go to / from any other menu (like Next or Previous).
The Help system is pretty weak, and my test project visually appears the same as their example which does not bother meaning *how* they link the menus. I've tried all the button choices like "Next" and "Previous" but they will only link to chapters. Help!!!! |

Not familiar with the software package you mention, but you can open up the pre/post commands in any freeware IFO viewer/editor and take a look (such as IFOEdit from doom9.org)
It could be that the software simply doesn't have the ability to link menus. closest thing I could find... http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?&threadid=64509 |

Thanks for the post, Xayd. I guess part of the problem is I'm a little spoiled with my home movies as I do use DVD Labs. The box that Studio 9 was to be on (yes, past tense) was a client's box.
I had no problem making chapter links, I just couldn't get the menus to link. The strange thing is that Pinnacle’s online documentation shows an example of Movie One w/chapters, Movie Two w/chapters, but does not mention how to link the menus. My test video showed the same links as their example photo !??! Oh well. For curiosity, I'd still like to know, but it is pretty much irrelevant now as they decided they don't want analog capture capabilities, just DV (which works just fine). |
