Get a microphone, play the record verly loud, record it. Convert to wav if not already done, edit of necessary. Burn to CD with WMP.
Only solution I can think of.. Dave

The type of record player is very important. Some may have output that can be interfaced with your PC... but you're probably going to have to wind up dumping a little cash into upgrading your sound setup.

If your record player has RCA speaker jacks, you can probably get a stereo RCA to 1/8 inch (or 1/4 inch I forget which) stereo jack adapter wire. Radio shack has these. Run the wire from your speaker outputs to the microphone jack of the sound card. Play through a media system that will let you keep the song to a playlist, then burn to a CD. It may take a bit more configuration than this, but it will start you in the right direction.

Best way to record records to your pc is to run the record player through a stereo and connect "record out" or a "tape out" output from the stereo to the "line in" jack of the sound card.

![]() You cannot connect a record player directly to your PC. You will need a preamp like THIS. To connect it to your PC you will need a cable like THIS. Connect it to the line-in on your sound card. Use Audacity to record. From Audacity you can export to MP3 and burn using whatever program you want. Windows Player 10 will do it.
