whats the best graphics card to get for under $300?
Plan on buying a graphics card and i dont know which one to get? please help me decide?

I would like a answer to this as well, I have a 9600 pro. my system spec look like this, K8V-X motherboard, 1 gig of pc 3200 ddr 400 ram, 40,gig ata drive, AMD 64 3000+. right now I'm looking at the 9800 pro for 200$ and 6800 for 300$.

Are we talking in terms of US Dollars? If so, It's probably the GeForce 6800...a bridge between newer and older technology, so to speak.

how would you rate these 2 cards:
GeForce 6800 - 284 or this one which seems to have moe memory: ATI RADEON 9800 PRO Video Card, 256MB DDR- 275 |

The GeForce 6800 is a semi-new generation card...I'm quite confident it will perform better to the eye than the Radeon 9800 Pro.
