the System Requirements:64MB system and intel AMB..[i didnt know that was 64BIT's]or compatible CPU's... i didnt think 64 BIT stuff was that cheap. I dont know much about this yet.. getting ripped of with this cCompaq has started a Quest for Knowledge... and plans for a REAL COMPUTER. anyway it looks like i ordered the wrong FX5700,... i have a: Compaq Preserio S5100NX, 32BIT Celleron [R] 2.6 MHz 248MB RAM 512 MB 2700MHz DDR [2X 256] so i am back to asking what do i tell them to replace it with...?? i have to do that early monday morning.. should i just go with the "Refurbished" Bare Bones FX5700 fpr $79. i am pretty exhausted going through all the websites.. and product lists, not knowing much about it all anyway........... thanks for your help, i am learning quite alot from all of you here. |

The requirement of 64mb means the system's ram not the bits of your cpu. They are saying your system needs to have at least 64 megs of ram for that video card. Since you have 248, it will be fine.
