Hey, you might find this link useful. Someone elsewhere on the web suggested that when overclocking your video card, to read the model# on the memory and look up it's maximum operating frequency at the manufacturer's website. The ATI X800XT PE's come with 256MB of Samsung GDDR3 memory. The model number on the memory is "Samsung 419 K4J55323QF-GC16". I found it with a Google search and according to Samsung it's good to 600Mhz (x2 = 1200Mhz total speed). So, we should be able to overclock the memory to 600Mhz easily. Here's the link...

just cuz the memory is able to OC that far doesn't mean that ur card will run cool enough to perform functions. how far have you OCed it?

If you plan on overclocking that much your probably going to need a better cooler for your card.

I haven't tested it too much but so far it runs fine with the memory at 600Mhz. I've run a few benchmarks but that was with the Core GPU overclocked just a little. I can't bring the core speed up as high with the memory at 600Mhz so I'll still have to find a good balance.
