Video problem I heard of before...

Hi!
I had a problem with my older system last night that I think I remember hearing about before.

My monitor went all screwy (all images went to blured lines and angled) and then the monitor went to powersave mode. Never happened before. I paniced and reset the puter instead of reseting the monitor but I do not think the puter was locked up.

Pentium 4 2.4 ghz
Biostar Mobo
PNY 5500 Ultra 128meg ram
1.0 gig generic PC 2700

After reboot everything seemed fine, sound like a monitor problem or a internal hardware issue?

PS- All drivers are updated =) SP2 not yet installed.

Could be monitor or video card. What were you doing when this happened? Can you duplicate the failure?
