Help me plz problem with asus 9600xt card

help my plz someone i have tryed everythig short of reverting to lower version drivers.

Current problem:
when my computer is on idle the system restarts on me, "when in idle it takes a long time before the system will rstart", the msg that comes up after it restarts is "your computer has recovered from a seriuos error and had to restart sorry for any inconvinience", the problem get worse when ever i play a 3d game the monitor changes into multi coloured checkers or lines or fuzz or all of them together, but the game still keeps playing, somtimes if it is really serious i have to manually restart otehr times it exits the game and comes up with this error "vpu recovery the drivers stoped comunicating properly you must restart to fix the problem" this is really anoying scince i have bought the Card maily to play 3d games, also before this i had another problem but i will tell you in another post as that problem has stoped and i dont want to ask too many question all at once
