I found this card that is 256-bit its refurbished so i guess it works still http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...40-017R&depa=0
Also this but its a 128-bit card http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...140-017&depa=0 All i will be doing is playing the sims 1& 2, playing GTA Vice City and black hawk down and watch dvds. Right now i have onboard video and i need a card please help Thank You |

if that's all ur doing, i would rather buy retail the take the larger risk of buying refurb.

Can't tell. They both link the the nVidia GeForce FX5200...a fair judgement cannot be determined without knowing both cards

They are not the same thing ones a refurb and one is new the refurb is 256-bit or MB one

I do not see much a difference between the two except refurb and not refurb...is the amount of onboard RAM different? Whatever it is, I'd suggest getting the new one whatever the case.

I love NewEgg and do the majority of my online shopping with them, but their use of "refurb" is misleading. A "refurb" could mean anything, including just "open box" items and even defective parts that were returned. If you think you may want to go "refurb" then allow yourself for the possiblity for getting a DOA part and having the hassle of having to return it in within their strick guidlines.
