256mb or 128mb?

Okay, I'm looking at upgrading my graphics card. Is it really worth it to fork out the extra cash for a 256mb card? I mean, is it really worth it??? I don't think that it is, but if someone can convince me, then I'll pay more for it. I'm not looking at getting insane benchmarks, I just want to play games and have no lag with really nice graphics. And I figure with a 128mb card (with 256bit) and upping my RAM to a gig, I should be fine.

Yes - you have the right impression. The vRAM doesn't play a extreme significant role in determining its performance - the buswidth (the ___-bit number) is more important - the wider the better, optimally the 256-bit version. If you're talking about the Radeon 9800 Pro, get the Radeon 9800 Pro 256Bit 128MB version.
