An Audio Visual Question
This is not actually computer related. When hooking up a DVD/VCR to my home system if I hook up through the S-jack do I need to connect the other video cables?
I've read the instructions but they are so vague. I have a digital cable box an audio reciever and am trying to get the sound to work properly. When playing DVD's the sound if a little scratchy. Hmmm, after reading my post, it seems vague. Any suggestions? |

Take a look at THIS guide. S-Video only carries video. You will need an RCA cable to get audio.

Thanks that explained a lot. Still working on getting better audio out of my system. Everything was fine until digital cable. That box has more connections than a truck load of chickens has feathers.
