noisy graphics card fan

So for a while now my computer has been making a really annoying buzzing noise...I figured it was a fan or drive because it sounds like something spinning. Anyways it got to the point where it was pissing off my roommate, so I cracked open the case and went through with the canned air to try and clean it out a bit. While it was running I tracked down the source of the noise - the fan on the video card. If I blast it with compressed air it will spin fast and make a lot of noise, otherwise it just rotates slowly and unevenly, as if it's suck on something. There's no way I can get to it without removing the card because it's upside down. Anyways I'm just wondering if anyone has a suggestion here, is it some hardware gone bad or something I can fix?

thanks!

edit: on closer inspection I realized that on startup the fan was not spinning at all. could I possible just replace it.

the card is an ati radeon 7500 btw.

You will need to replace the fan. If you have a computer store close by, take the card to the store and see if they can match up the size and pins of the bad fan.
