Seeking advice on graphics cards?
I have an older Dell 4550 with a 32 MB ATI Rage 128 Ultra graphics card. I notice people are selling this card on eBay for .99 cents. I see all kinds of cards with 64 and 128MB selling in the $20.00 to $30.00 range. What would be a good upgrade for a reasonable price. Not looking for the latest and greatest at $400.00 a pop. Thanks.

depends on your budget. i would probably recommend a radeon 9550 for around 65 dollars. if you have more money, get a 9600XT or a 9800Pro

If you are leanimg towards the higher end video cards, check the specs on the AGP slot on the Dell to se if it will support an 4x/8x card.

yes and if not you can always grab a 9600 PCI vid card, however if you do have agp 4x/8x grab a 9600 xt or a 9800 pro 128MB
