What's A Decent Video Card

For a Hp Pavilion 4445. This pc I just finished doing some works needs a video card that can play some games. Right now it has on board video. It has an available 2xAGP slop and two open pci slots. I figured it would be better using a pci card since I'm sure it can handle aleast a 32meg card. What do you think.

Why a pci card, you could put a real good AGP 2x card in it. Check the newegg links below

ATI RADEON 9600PRO Video Card, 256MB, $131
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...131-227&depa=1

ATI RADEON 7000 Video Card, 64MB
http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...142-005&depa=1

These are a quick two I found. Gforce2 models are usually AGP 2x and decent cards for about $30-$40.

What type of performance are you looking to get, what type of games do you want to play?

If you have AGP then use it, the benefits many- they generally are faster unless you are talking the 20.00 USD range, and you can take the card with you when you build your first computer saving some cash on the build. You also get many more choices in the AGP slot cards.
