does pci express fit into my pci slot?

i was just wondering if video cards that say pci express will fit into a pci slot?

is that video card good, and better than the FX5200?

no. you need a pci express slot for pci express cards cards. pci express cards will not fit into a normal pci slot

I don't believe that you could use PCIE with PCI. They are different technologies with much differeing bandwidth. PCI Express is serial based, data can be sent over the bus in two directions. Whereas PCI is Parallel.
