My Windows Media Player was working fine until the other day when I tried to play an Audio CD. I got this error message;
"Window Media Player encountered an error when reading the CD Rom in digital mode. Click OK to switch to analog mode. Click cancel to retry playing in digital mode". I tried both and neither works. The help says to go to the device and click on properties, and switch to digital mode. However, when I try that the properties won't even boot. I have tried the same CD in another computer and it plays with no problem. Also, the number of the error is; Error ID = 0xC00D11F8, Condition ID = 0x00000000Error ID = 0xC00D11F8, Condition ID = 0x00000000 Adding to my problem is that my Audigy player won't play any music either. I have had this installed and never encountered this problem. Thanks in advance for any help that solves this problem. |
