Question ps? graphic card? help!

ok i got a new problem after I got my new ASUS Geforce FX 5200 128mb graphic card. I installed it into my computer and since i had recently reinstalled xp i just formatted and did it again, didnt matter no important stuff. Now I have problems with the graphic card. as soon as i log in, almost all the time i get the "system has recovered from a seriorous error" or something, and or "nivida geforce fx 5200 has created an error" something on that line. the problem is hard to trace. i can be loading up firefox to look on the internet, i can be looking in my docs folder, it freezes (escept the mouse) and then it restarts by it self. why?

i did write something simmilar in the other forum but i didnt get any responses (besides the fact to uninstall my drivers, but since i started with a fresh OS that doesnt really matter)

thanks for your help

Let's see if it's any hardware problem - did you physically look inside the case and see if nothing is overheating, the CPU HSF is spinning, the graphics card is good, etc? Then also, be sure to install the latest drivers from nVidia's website for the GFFX5200.

Have you tried the video card in another computer?

You can download the drivers from here.

I still think the problem lies with the motherboard.
