What is VIVO?
Is it a good idea to select yes if one were to be buying a new video card? Most importantly of all however I'd like to know if there are any draw backs to this so called "VIVO"? |

VIVO = Video In Video Out, for cards that can be used to record.

Video cards with VIVO have the abilty to capture video along with a TV output. YOu can connect any analog source with the appropriate outputs and capture/edit video on your PC.

If my Gainward TI4200 has ports listed as 1 DVI + 1 CRT + TV out + VIVO....
What else do I need to hook up the VCR to capture video on the computer? It also came with a VIVO breakout cable. Thanks for any help. I am just trying to learn about all this. Sure wish Santa would bring a DVD burner for Christmas. |
