fqpissed media player 10 major errors and issues

My media player 10 is fast becoming a piece of junk. My first issue was that mplayer kept losing my licenses. then, I couldn't rip cds at all. Now, I have no functional music assistant, I can't refresh my licenses, and I get the secure storage protection error. Help, please. I have researched this issue online, and have tried everything that I could find, but to no avail.

I'm assuming this is Windows Media Player 10, you didn't say. Try redownloading and reinstalling it and see if that helps at all. Do alternates work at all? I imagine they do, but if not then it could be a more general problem than just the media player.

Try uninstalling WMP10, and install WMP9.

WMP9>WMP10

I haven't had any major issues, except that v.10 wouldn't rip some CD's that v.9 would

Have you checked for spyware using SpyBot and Adaware? I have had no such issues with WMP 10. You should also try another player and see if it works. If not, it is a broader issue.

Yeah, windows media player 9 is loads better than v. 10. You can't beat it, microsoft made a very simple, easy to use, and very good media player with their version 9.

Ummm... Everything I have read, heard, and in my own experience, says that WMP 10 is loads better than 9. This is the first I have heard people liking 9 better than 10. 10 loads much faster, has a better layout, more useful features, and integrates 8 music download services. How can 9 beat that???
